## Description

ICON is seeking a Biostatistician II to join its Full-Service Early Phase Biostatistics team. The successful candidate will lead and oversee early phase clinical trials, providing input to statistical components including protocols, mocks/shells, SAP text, programmed deliverables, and CSRs.

**Responsibilities:**

- Serve as lead biostatistician for programs of studies, or on simple to complex individual studies

- Oversee statistical activities that support ICON’s interactions with clients and regulatory agencies

- Review and approve statistical methods sections of study protocols

- Author statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and statistical input to reports

- Program using SAS and/or R for inferential statistics

- Conduct statistical analyses for clients

**Requirements:**

- Master's degree OR Ph.D in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field

- 1+ years of biostatistical experience in either a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company

- In-depth knowledge of study designs, and statistical analysis conventions in one or more therapeutic areas

- Knowledge of clinical trials methodology, regulatory requirements, statistics and statistical software packages, including SAS

- Experience working in a clinical research organization (preferred)

- Effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated leadership ability

- Ability to prioritize with strong time management skills
