## Description

We are seeking a Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist to support Space Launch Systems (SLS) at our supplier, Collins Aerospace, in Rockford, Illinois.

The successful candidate will oversee technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs, lead strategic supply chain activities, and manage supplier relationships and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs

- Leading strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs

- Managing all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases

- Leading supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions

- Developing company or business unit procurement strategies

- Providing oversight, guidance, and verification of work movement projects

- Communicating supplier and organization performance plans, risks, issues, and opportunities to stakeholders

- Managing work movement plans

This position requires a technical Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree, and more than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action, as well as creating, interpreting, and enforcing technical requirements.

Preferred qualifications include more than 10 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity, negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions.

The salary range for this position is $140,250 - $173,250.
