## Description

Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a PCBA Soldering Technician to join the team producing a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).

The role involves hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components on low, medium, and high-density printed circuit boards (PCBs). The technician will work under a microscope, perform rework of various electronic packages, and achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on work output.

Responsibilities:

- Hand solder surface mount and through-hole components on PCBs

- Work under a microscope

- Perform rework of electronic packages, including resistors, capacitors, and through-hole parts

- Work independently with limited supervision

- Collaborate in a team environment with different functions, project teams, and production teams

- Must be a resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate

Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED

- Less than 2-4 years of prior relevant work experience

- Experience soldering under a microscope

- Ability to solder surface mount and through-hole components

- Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions

- US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

- Current or prior certification in IPC-A-610

- Current or prior certification in J-STD-001

The pay range for this job is $35,100.00 - $63,450.00.
