## Description

Databricks is seeking a Delivery Solution Architect (DSA) to work with sales and field engineering teams to accelerate customer adoption and utilization of the Databricks platform.

As a DSA, you will provide technical guidance and support to customers to ensure they achieve maximum value and ROI from their Databricks platform.

Key responsibilities:

- Define and influence technical execution strategies across complex use cases and multiple workstreams

- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers' technical leads and architects

- Design secure, scalable, and governable Databricks architectures

- Develop and demonstrate practical solutions, prototypes, and reusable technical assets

- Establish best practices for security, governance, and operational excellence

- Collaborate with Databricks, customers, and delivery teams to coordinate resources, manage risks, and accelerate delivery

- Mentor colleagues and contribute to reusable technical guidance, frameworks, and enablement

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, solution engineering, technical consulting, or related technical roles

- Experience influencing technical strategy and architecture across complex customer use cases

- Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages

- Deep understanding of distributed data systems, data engineering, analytics, data warehousing, AI/ML, and modern cloud architectures

- Experience designing secure, governable, scalable, and production-ready data solutions

- Ability to solve ambiguous technical problems and validate solutions through structured analysis and experimentation

- Experience leading architecture discussions with technical leads, architects, and senior stakeholders

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

- Fluent Japanese language skills

Preferred skills:

- Databricks experience or certification

- Expertise in AI/ML, data engineering, streaming, data warehousing, governance, migration

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud deployments

- Ability to create reusable technical frameworks, demos, or enablement

- Business-level English language skills
