## Description

We are seeking a General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will play a crucial role in creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience.

The starting hourly rate is $18.25 USD per hour, with a pay range of $18.25 USD - $27.40 USD per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience

- Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve business goals

- Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified

- Learn and execute operational procedures to maintain sales floor areas, manage product accuracy and stock levels, and ensure inventory management

- Follow all Target policies and safety procedures

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfilment processes

Requirements:

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
