## Description

We are seeking a talented student to join our Tax practice group in Amsterdam for a two-month internship. As a student-stage, you will work closely with our tax associates on various projects, including advising on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets transactions, restructurings, and private equity transactions. You will also assist in drafting contracts and supporting clients in disputes with the tax authorities.

As a global law firm, Freshfields offers a dynamic and challenging work environment where you can develop your skills and expertise. Our Amsterdam office is home to around 80 lawyers and offers a collaborative and informal atmosphere.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist tax associates with various projects

- Draft contracts and other documents

- Support clients in disputes with tax authorities

**Requirements:**

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree

- Civil law degree (or planning to obtain one)

- Demonstrated interest in law

- Social, proactive, and enthusiastic

- Fluent in Dutch and English
