## Description

We are seeking a talented Housing Weld Technician to join our team at the Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC. As a Housing Weld Technician, you will perform skilled activities supporting manufacturing business needs, select and use appropriate tools, machinery, and specialty equipment, and learn and understand the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Ensure Safety: Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately to maintain a safe working environment.

- Compliance and Reporting: Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard to ensure compliance with HSE standards and prevent future incidents.

- Environmental Stewardship: Recognize how your work impacts the environment and work to minimize negative effects to contribute to sustainable practices.

- Quality Craftsmanship: Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship to ensure all tasks are performed to the highest quality.

- Preventive Maintenance: Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and perform quality inspections to maintain equipment uptime and reduce downtime.

- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities and solve problems to enhance processes and reduce manufacturing constraints.

- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your team and support teams to foster a collaborative work environment and improve overall productivity.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

- Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

- Welding certification preferred, but not required.

Shift Premium: $1.00/hr Working Hours: 11:15pm - 7:15am (Sunday - Thursday) Min Salary: $56,800 Max Salary: $85,200
