## Description

ICON is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join their team. As a Senior Medical Writer, your primary responsibility will be to provide scientific and medical/clinical writing support as part of a dedicated team servicing an assigned client.

The role involves:

- Interpreting clinical data and adapting it to meet project objectives

- Ensuring compliance with medical publications and communications guidelines

- Representing assigned work at internal and external meetings

- Contributing to client publication and communication plans

- Managing medical writing resources, including junior writers

- Collaborating with the Scientific Manager and account managers to ensure project timelines are met

Requirements include:

- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD)

- Prior relevant experience in medical publications or communications

- Minimum 3-5 years of high-level content development experience

- Proficiency with ICMJE and GPP guidelines

- Ability to work efficiently with network directories and databases

- Familiarity with industry standard resources

- Strong command of the English language
