As a Property Management Lead at Target, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company's physical assets are well-maintained and functional. You will lead a team to identify and safely execute preventive and corrective maintenance on building assets and equipment, work with vendors, and influence store teams to align with property management priorities and financial goals. Responsibilities: - Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience. - Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target's guest experience commitments and consistent operations. - Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognising great guest experience moments. - Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align team on the right behaviours and execution. - Utilise technology to create, troubleshoot, prioritise, and safely complete work orders. - Perform preventive maintenance on building assets and equipment, including Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems, and Electrical. - Follow safety procedures and training, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure a safe work environment. - Teach and train store teams to follow safety procedures. - Identify and perform corrective maintenance on building assets. - Inform and engage store leadership teams on property management workload priorities and share impacts of store processes on asset care, maintenance, and functionality. - Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing best practices. - Evaluate store brand and ensure assets and vendor performance meet maintenance and functionality standards. - Assist in executing special projects, remodels, and support PM assets and service strategies. - Ensure internal and external work orders are completed safely and efficiently. - Assist in managing emergency situations as needed. - Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches. Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent - Must be 18 years of age or older - 1+ years of technical education preferred in areas such as electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC, or plumbing - Basic technical skills and general experience working with property assets required - Proficiency in operating power tools, HVAC, wet/dry vacuum, and other powered equipment - Strong skills in managing vendor relationships and achieving quality service results - Effective communication skills and ability to use technology and multiple communication devices - Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
