## Description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Associate to join our team at Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, in Newark, Delaware.

As a Pharmacy Technician Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring prescriptions are dispensed and shipped correctly to patients. You will work collaboratively with pharmacists and production clerks to achieve success and deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Select and retrieve medication quantities and prepare corresponding labels

- Work with a skilled team to ensure patients receive their medication in a timely manner

- Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to fill medications and support quality goals

- Provide administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy

- Define procedures under close supervision

- Verify, print prescriptions, and perform routine duties

- Assist with picking up medication and helping on the packing line

- Participate in training and enjoy a supportive environment with peers and other teams

Requirements:

- High School Diploma / GED required

- Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred

- 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred

- Basic math skills and General PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office, internet, and email

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality

Physical Requirements:

- Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods

- Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently

- Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms

- Work may be in confined areas close to machinery

- Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise

This role is onsite, Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 11:30pm and Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm. The hourly rate is $17.75 - $25, depending on experience and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
