## Description

GSK Apprenticeships are full-time entry-level opportunities that offer high school graduates and community college students the chance to begin their career while studying towards their associate degree. This associate degree is fully funded by GSK, which means no college debt.

As a Quality Control Laboratory Associate Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. You will develop hands-on technical skills in our laboratory facilities while continuing your education.

Responsibilities:

- Develop hands-on laboratory skills

- Learn how to maintain laboratory equipment

- Carry out routine testing and analysis

- Diagnose and resolve laboratory issues

- Assist with the design, installation, and testing of new equipment

- Consistently operate aligned to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

- Maintain and calibrate a wide range of equipment to ensure continual production of accurate and precise results

- Look for ways to improve safety, efficiency, and quality of our laboratory processes

Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalency diploma by June 2027

- High school GPA 2.5 or above

- High school Algebra and Geometry or 2 units equivalent of academic math

- High school English

- High school Biology and Chemistry

- Must have 0 - 30 college credits

- Written and spoken fluency in English

- Must be 18 years of age by August 1, 2027

- Less than 2 years of related work experience since graduating from high school

Preferred Requirements:

- Have studied AP Biology or Chemistry at High School

- Have studied more than 1 life science

- Have studied High School Physics

- Have studied High School Pre-Calculus

- Have studied engineering, technology, robotics, shop or STEM-related courses at high school
