## Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrub Nurse to join our team in our prestigious private North London Eye Hospital, located in Colindale. As a Scrub Nurse, you will participate in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway, providing excellent care to patients and skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Carry out a full range of registered healthcare professional duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' conditions and care.

- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing appropriate surgical instrumentation and equipment.

- Ensure all surgical equipment is disposed of correctly, including decontamination and sterilisation of reusable equipment.

- Complete all documentation for traceability effectively.

**Requirements:**

- Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.

- Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.

- Qualification in Ophthalmology or Perioperative care.

- One year or more of ophthalmology surgical theatre experience.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Awareness of responsibilities in relation to NMC Professional Code of Conduct and CQC standards and requirements.
