## Description

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their Occupational Therapy service. The role offers a unique opportunity for career progression and professional development. The successful applicant will work in a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to patients with complex needs.

**Responsibilities:**

- Undertake comprehensive assessments and accurate diagnoses of patients

- Formulate individualised clinical management programmes

- Use recognised outcome measures to evaluate the effect of Occupational Therapy interventions

- Work autonomously and make decisions on priorities for own work area

- Supervise designated members of staff within the team

**Rotations:**

- Emergency Department

- Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC)

- Acute Medicine Unit

- Care of the Elderly

- ITU & Neuro outliers

- Trauma and Orthopedics

- Medicine

- Stroke Unit (University Hospital Lewisham)

- Community rotation (currently being explored)

**Requirements:**

- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy

- HCPC registration

- Relevant postgraduate courses

- Excellent communication and teamworking skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- IT skills, including hospital databases, word processing, and email
