## Description

We are seeking an Accountant/Sachbearbeiter Buchhaltung to join our team in Hamburg. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing development and drive both your own growth and that of the company.

**Your Role**

- Booking of accruals, prepayments, and other tasks related to monthly closings and bank transactions

- Manual processing of invoices and payments

- Support for internal and external invoice verification, communication, and coordination with the tax team

- Maintaining an effective governance and control framework for accounting services

- Monthly review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and profit and loss accounts

- Support for all projects related to the general ledger and accounts payable

- Preparation of the German value-added tax return

- Preparation of regulatory reports

- Coordination with various departments on payment-related matters

- Reconciliation and booking of bank accounts

**Requirements**

- Experience as an accountant or extensive experience in the financial services sector with a focus on accounting

- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (General Ledger or comparable applications)

- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with deadlines

- Fluent communication in German and basic knowledge of English

- Enjoyment of teamwork and clear communication
