As a Research and Development Engineer II at Synopsys, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced software solutions for semiconductor analysis and simulation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and developing software solutions for semiconductor analysis and simulation

- Conducting in-depth research and analysis in areas such as user experience, solver optimization, and software architecture

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain best practices through technical reviews and peer mentoring

- Performing rigorous bug verification, release testing, and providing beta support for assigned products

- Investigating and resolving complex issues identified by QA or product support, devising innovative solutions

- Anticipating technological trends and future needs, actively proposing and implementing new features and enhancements

- Optimizing code to enhance tool runtime and memory efficiency, enabling robust performance for large-scale simulations
