## Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Staffing Bank based on the wards at Spire Washington.

This role would suit candidates who are looking for a work/life balance and are very flexible but can also commit to regular shift work.

Spire Washington is a 35 in-patient bedded hospital with 10 consultation and 2 treatment rooms based just off junction 63 of the A1 with great commuter links.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload on one of our busy surgical wards

- Assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs

- Providing post-operative care such as wound dressing, IVs and drains

- Developing your own knowledge and skills and that of others whilst promoting best practice in health and safety and security

**Requirements:**

- NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your PIN

- Minimum of 1 year post-graduation hospital experience

- Experience in surgical or acute settings

- Excellent communication, organisation, and patient care skills

- Flexibility to work varied shifts
