## Description

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Intermountain Medical Center. As a vascular-focused sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and vascular imaging services.

**Responsibilities:**

- Demonstrate technical competence in performing vascular sonography procedures

- Prioritise and schedule exams, coordinating with medical staff, physician offices, and patients

- Prepare patients for exams, educate them on procedures, and ensure their safety and comfort

- Perform ultrasound exams in a timely manner, achieving quality outcomes

- Identify patient needs and communicate effectively with physicians and caregivers

- Document exam results and apply charge codes for exams and supplies

- Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives

- Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural techniques

**Requirements:**

- ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography

- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

- Strong communication and patient care skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
