## Description

Cigna International Health is initiating a project to modernise its portal and self-service application to bolster the expansion of its health businesses across the globe.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive front-end software development efforts in creating high-quality web and mobile solutions.

**Responsibilities**

- Provide technical leadership for frontend discipline within application development

- Implement software engineering strategy aligning with business and product objectives

- Own frontend application development capability for web portal solution

- Contribute to definition of applications development policies, standards, and procedures

- Lead and mentor junior software development team members

- Execute software projects ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards

- Develop solutions using TDD methodology

- Guide design principles and development processes for scalable, secure, and efficient solutions

- Implement DevSecOps to streamline processes and enhance productivity

**Requirements**

- 6 years of experience in a senior role within software development for web portals and user interfaces

- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, source code management strategies, design patterns, DevOps, automation, and best practices

- Strong experience with ReactJS framework, TypeScript, web servers, relational and non-relational databases, testing strategies

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and services like S3, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, IAM, KMS

- Experience with agile teams and iterative delivery

- Good leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

**Desirable**

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation

- Experience with building and deploying application code and configured CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with working in multiple geographies and understanding regional nuances
