## Description

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Journalist to join our team at KSDK-TV Saint Louis, the NBC TEGNA affiliate. As a creative storyteller, you will create unique, memorable, and well-written stories, sharing them on all platforms with outstanding photography and editing.

Responsibilities:

- Perform live shots in developing or breaking news situations

- Develop story ideas and mine the community for sources

- Identify, write, and produce stories within a specific framework, researching for facts and credibility

- Maintain and develop sources to enhance reporting

- Shoot, write, produce, and edit on-air and online content within deadlines

- Use creative production techniques and social media to enhance and distribute content

- Attend editorial meetings and offer story ideas daily

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of reporting experience preferred

- Solid news judgment, strong communication skills, creativity, and ethical decision-making skills

- Strong writing, production, and tease writing abilities

- ENPS, EDIUS, and Axis graphics experience preferred

- Organized with the ability to work under constant deadlines and handle live breaking news situations

- Proven social and digital content creation ability

- Knowledge of Saint Louis a plus
