## Description

We are seeking a Principal Biometrics Software Engineer to join our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area. As a member of our team, you will specialize in integrating biometric technologies, such as fingerprint, facial recognition, and iris scanning, into existing software systems.

The role involves designing and implementing software modules to integrate various biometric modalities with existing applications and systems. You will also develop and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs) for third-party applications to interact with the biometric system, contribute to the overall system architecture, and ensure scalability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and implementing software modules for biometric integration

- Developing and maintaining APIs for third-party applications

- Contributing to the overall system architecture

- Developing data processing pipelines for biometric data capture, storage, and transmission

- Participating in software programming initiatives

- Creating detailed technical documentation

- Troubleshooting issues related to biometric integration

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of various biometric modalities

- Experience with integrating third-party APIs and SDKs for biometric data capture and processing

- Understanding of security protocols and best practices for handling sensitive biometric data

- Familiarity with database technologies

- Expertise in Java, Spring, C2S, and software development lifecycle

- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience

- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with structured analysis and design methodologies

- Experience integrating with biometric-based identity management solutions
