## Description

SpaceXSI is seeking an experienced network engineer to support and expand our campus and data center infrastructure, as well as our expansive wireless network.

## Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and troubleshoot large-scale wired and wireless networks.

- Configure, install, and support campus and data center networks.

- Troubleshoot wired/wireless networking-related issues.

- Deploy network access control (NAC) using 802.1X.

- Develop and enforce network policies and standards.

- Plan and prepare project roadmaps.

- Develop network automation tools to support our enterprise network.

- Monitor network health using in-house and third-party tools.

- Create and maintain proper documentation of our networks.

## Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other STEM discipline and 2+ years of professional network engineering experience; OR 5+ years of professional network engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

## Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Expert understanding of the OSI model and network standards.

- Cisco Catalyst, Juniper, and Arista data center-class switches.

- Cisco wireless LAN controllers or other wireless technologies.

- Network Access Control (NAC) using 802.1X.

- Wave Division Multiplexing and Fiber Optics.

- DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IP helpers, ARP, CDP, LLDP.

- BGP routing.

- Switch port security features.

- Network monitoring tools.

- Network documentation.

- Linux/Windows system administration.

- Experience with Python scripting.

- Industry-standard certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or JNCIE.

## Additional Requirements:

- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

- This role requires you to be onsite. Hybrid or remote work will not be considered.

- Must have a valid driver's license.
