## Description

Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system.

As a Flight Software Intern, you will work on hard problems and have the opportunity to design, write, and test software for satellites and ground control systems.

Responsibilities:

- Work with the engineering team to design, write, and test software (embedded software running on satellites, as well as a variety of ground control and testing software)

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree

- Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s)

- Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch

Bonus skills:

- Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal

- Experience with real-time operating systems

- Experience with FPGA or DSP programming

The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.

U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.
