## Description

WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Substation Civil Engineer for their Power Delivery Substation Civil/Structural Group in Atlanta, GA.

This role involves performing engineering design for electrical substations, leading other engineers, designers, and drafters, and ensuring that responsibilities are delivered to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing guidance on collecting and analysing data from physical work sites, surveys, and other sources

- Applying high-level civil engineering techniques to identify improvements for substation projects

- Supporting substation physical design and coordinating with multiple disciplines

- Preparing stormwater calculation packages and civil construction specifications

- Coordinating with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients

- Managing budgets and schedules for multiple projects

Requirements:

- BSCE degree from an ABET-accredited college

- 7-10 years of relevant post-education experience in civil engineering

- Proficient with civil engineering principles, practices, and design software

- Successful completion of the NCEES Professional Engineering (PE) exam

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and provide guidance to junior team members

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in electric utility substation site development design

- Ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently and manage budgets and schedules
