## Description

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Hendon Hospital, part of Circle Health Group. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will deliver person-centred care, including assisting with personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, toileting, and emotional support. They will also carry out basic clinical tasks, such as monitoring vital signs, blood glucose levels, and patient observations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering high-quality care to patients

- Assisting with clinical procedures and preparing equipment and materials

- Acting as a role model and mentor to junior healthcare assistants

- Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organised clinical area

- Accurately recording care provided and observations

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification/experience)

- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting

- Ability to carry out delegated clinical tasks safely and confidently

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to support and supervise junior staff members
