## Description

We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis, a luxury retirement village providing personalized care and promoting independence.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest cleaning standards across our facilities, public areas, and resident properties.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure facilities, public areas, and individual properties are maintained to high cleaning standards

- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet shampooers

- Empty bins regularly

- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors

- Clean carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills

- Wash, dry, and iron residents' clothing, bedding, and communal laundry

- Report safety hazards to management and adhere to Health and Safety standards and COSHH regulations

Requirements:

- Experience in a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role

- Basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards

- Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills

- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
