## Description

Mejuri, a fine jewelry brand founded in 2015, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract. The Financial Analyst will own the numbers behind Mejuri's planning cycle, building the annual budget and quarterly and monthly forecasts, then tracking actuals against them across departments, stores, and the consolidated business.

Responsibilities:

- Planning & Forecasting: Build and monitor the annual budget and monthly and quarterly forecasts across departments and stores.

- Cash flow reporting: Prepare the weekly cash flow report for the company.

- Process improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the budgeting and forecasting process.

- Reporting & Business Partnering: Prepare reporting packages for business leaders and provide variance analysis.

- Decision support: Analyze past and projected financial impact to support business partners' decisions.

- Fact-based challenge: Test assumptions and push back with numbers when necessary.

- Systems fluency: Develop a working knowledge of Mejuri's systems, processes, and financial statements.

Requirements:

- Finance education: Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.

- FP&A experience: 1-3 years in FP&A or financial reporting.

- Advanced Excel: Comfort building complex formulas and financial models.

- Systems aptitude: Ability to pick up new systems quickly.

- Self-direction: Take initiative and follow through on commitments.

- Relationship-building: Strong written communication and ability to build working relationships.
