## Description

Manage the contract strategy and support delivery of all required start-up contracting activities for selected sponsors and for complex studies or multi-protocol programs as determined by the Sponsor’s requirements. May include line management responsibilities. Established and productive professional individual contributor that works independently with minimal supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

The role involves:

- Developing complex investigator grant estimates, contracting strategies, and proposal text to support proposal development

- Creating contract and budget templates, contracting systems, tools, processes, and training materials for selected sponsors and complex studies

- Ensuring collaboration with sponsors, stakeholders, and RSU regions and countries to deliver the agreed project scope

- Providing specialist legal, operational, and financial contracting support to study teams

- Creating, publishing, and reviewing core scientific, technical, and administrative documentation

- Assessing and reviewing the contracting landscape and contributing to the collection and dissemination of accurate contracting intelligence

- Ensuring overall contracting efficiency and adherence to project timelines and financial goals

- Reporting contracting performance metrics and out of scope contracting activities

- Mentoring and coaching colleagues and providing technical guidance

- Delivering presentations to clients and professional bodies

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's Degree

- 5 years’ relevant sponsor or clinical research organization clinical site contracting experience, including demonstrable experience acting as an international contract expert
