## Description

Reach Logistics, a Pattern company, is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of supervisors and warehouse staff at its fulfillment center in Hebron, KY. The successful candidate will help design, improve, and run systems that connect people, products, and brands at scale.

## Responsibilities

- Lead a team of up to 220 supervisors and warehouse staff on assigned shifts to meet productivity, quality, safety, and shipping targets

- Partner with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Managers to support teams in meeting business goals

- Promote a positive culture and maintain high levels of quality, safety, and performance on the production floor

- Shift plan and labor share according to daily goals and order numbers

- Facilitate open communication between shifts to achieve common goals

- Provide direction to supervisors and leads in departments and across shifts

- Track attendance and approve timecards for associates

- Coach, train, and retrain associates on labeling and packaging procedures

- Resolve employee relations matters and conflicts with HR support

- Monitor productivity and make recommendations to reach and exceed metrics

- Administer progressive discipline for employee behavioral and productivity issues

- Help team members understand and connect to the company's vision, mission, strategy, and business priorities

- Ensure team member safety by teaching, promoting, and exemplifying safety guidelines

- Manage leads to ensure close collaboration with team members

- Uphold company policies and professional workplace behavior

- Solve problems in real-time using basic math and counting

- Use Warehouse Management Software to track and solve order problems

- Collaborate with other managers, supervisors, coordinators, and leads

- Have a flexible schedule and work outside normal hours when needed

## Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of operations experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

- 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution center or warehouse

- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software

- Effective communication skills for associate, management, and executive staff

- Experience creating and executing shift plans

- Basic math and Excel skills

- Process control knowledge

- Flexibility and adaptability

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Gmail

- Previous experience with Workday preferred

- Fair and consistent management style

- Comfortable working with a diverse workforce

- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills

## Physical Demands

- Ability to walk or stand for 8-10 hours

- Lift up to 50 lbs by hand

- Pallet jack experience

- Pull, push, bend, kneel, and crouch

- Overtime required during peak season (25-30% of the time)
