## Description

We are seeking an Engineering Shift Manager to join our team at Morrisons in Northwich. This critical role ensures the smooth operation of our manufacturing site.

Responsibilities:

- Minimise machinery downtime through proactive and predictive maintenance

- Improve equipment performance and optimise processes

- Engage and motivate the engineering team

- Lead the Morrisons asset care programme

- Take a hands-on approach to repairing and optimising equipment

- Coordinate maintenance priorities with the Maintenance team

- Handle crisis incidents and enforce discipline and grievance procedures

Requirements:

- Qualifications to NVQ level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering

- Proven track record in engineering and fault finding in a FMCG environment

- Experience in people management and delivering strong results

- Understanding of HACCP principles and IEE qualification up to 18th edition wiring regulations

- Excellent communication skills and assertiveness
