## Job Overview

At Wolt, a technology company creating solutions for delivery services, you will be joining the Core Engineering team as a Staff Engineer, EU Infrastructure. This role involves leading infrastructure work that supports multiple teams and brands.

## About the Team

The EU Compute team focuses on provisioning, scaling, and operating GPU infrastructure for AI and ML workloads. As a Staff Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical leader, setting direction for the platform, solving complex problems, and helping other engineers make informed decisions.

## Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Setting technical direction for shared AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure

- Leading substantial initiatives from design to rollout and operation

- Evolving Kubernetes clusters, cloud networking, identity, and infrastructure provisioning

- Building reusable Terraform patterns and self-service tooling

- Improving deployment and operational practices

- Using production signals and developer feedback to inform platform improvements

- Assisting with platform support, focusing on GPU infrastructure

- Mentoring engineers through design reviews and implementation

## Requirements

- Deep experience with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure in production

- Strong software engineering skills in languages like Go or Python

- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform

- A track record of leading complex technical work across teams

- Strong judgment on trade-offs in distributed systems, networking, security, and cloud cost

- Clear communication and collaboration skills
