## Description

We are seeking a Logistics Operator to join our team at Tekever's Ponte de Sor location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the correct, safe, and efficient flow of materials and products throughout the supply chain. This involves managing receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch operations. The goal is to maintain stock integrity, support operational readiness, and ensure that the right materials arrive at the right place and time.

**Responsibilities:**

- Inspect and verify received goods against purchase orders or packing lists to ensure compliance

- Unload, separate, and store materials or products in designated warehouse areas

- Report any discrepancies, damage, or quality issues with received goods

- Maintain accurate records of received goods in the inventory management system

- Prepare and package goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation

- Coordinate with transporters or distribution companies to schedule pickups

- Inspect goods to be dispatched, verifying quality and order specifications

- Generate dispatch documentation, such as packing lists, transport documents, and hazardous goods declarations

- Conduct regular inventory counts and checks to ensure stock accuracy

- Update the inventory system with real-time information on received and dispatched items

- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed

- Adhere to safety procedures and handle goods properly

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, complying with health and safety standards

**Requirements:**

- Minimum secondary education qualifications or equivalent

- At least 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or receipt and dispatch operations

- Good knowledge of procedures and documentation associated with receipt and dispatch operations

- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

- ADR/IATA certification for transporting hazardous goods (desirable)

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and records

- Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English (C2 level)

- Team spirit and good communication skills

- Familiarity with inventory management systems (desirable)
