## Description

We are Accor, a world-leading hospitality group. As a Kitchen Assistant at our ibis BH Savassi hotel, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.

**Job Purpose:** Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to safety standards and brand style, to meet customer needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist with pre-preparation and preparation of food, including washing, cleaning, chopping, and organising ingredients.

- Support pastry production (sweets, cakes, etc.) as needed.

- Check food validity and proper storage.

- Help set up and replenish buffets, coffee breaks, and staff meals, focusing on presentation.

- Participate in area control and team briefings.

- Maintain personal hygiene, food, utensils, and kitchen environment according to food safety regulations.

- Represent the brand values and contribute to guest experience personalisation, sharing information with the reception team.

- Implement sustainable practices related to recycling and conscious use of water and energy.

**Requirements:**

- Basic education (equivalent to GCSEs).

- Basic knowledge of cooking and food safety best practices.

- Experience in the industry.

**Desirable Qualifications:**

- Secondary education (A-levels or equivalent).

- Basic knowledge of cooking.

- Basic English.

**Working Hours:**

- 12x36 shift (06:00 - 18:00).

- 5x2 shift (06:00 - 15:48).

- 6x1 shift (22:00 - 05:48).
