## Job Summary

Rocketship Public Schools is looking for joyful, driven, and student-centered Elementary Teachers to join our school community in Milwaukee, WI, with a salary range of USD 54,827-79,534 per year.

## Responsibilities

As an Elementary Teacher, you will lead instruction in either Humanities or STEM while creating a classroom culture rooted in joy, belonging, high expectations, and student growth. Your responsibilities include:

- Creating a classroom where students feel safe, respected, included, and excited to learn

- Teaching engaging and rigorous lessons using Rocketship curriculum and instructional resources

- Using student data to plan instruction, monitor progress, and respond to student needs

- Building strong classroom routines and a positive culture that supports learning

- Adjusting instruction to support diverse learners and help every student access grade-level content

- Participating in regular coaching, professional development, and team collaboration

- Partnering with families through home visits, regular communication, progress updates, and school events

- Working with school leaders, teammates, special education staff, and wellness partners to support the whole child

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

- Valid Lifetime License, Provisional License, or Charter School License in the appropriate K to 9 or Birth to 3rd endorsement

- Ability to maintain active credential status in good standing throughout employment

- Commitment to serving students and families in diverse school communities

## Preferred Qualifications

- Prior teaching experience in diverse school communities

- Experience as an elementary teacher, classroom teacher, Humanities teacher, STEM teacher, or charter school teacher

- Experience using student data to guide instruction

- Experience with lesson planning, classroom culture, and student engagement

- Experience building strong partnerships with families
