## Description

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Hospital North London. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team and promote the best interests of the clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional standards, and be able to demonstrate ongoing post-registration continuing professional development. You will show a positive attitude and a commitment to change, service improvement, and high-quality care.

The main duties of the job include:

- Delivering prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework

- Assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes

- Accurately observing and engaging with patients to assess their needs and evaluate their progress

- Monitoring and reviewing Nursing Care plans

The salary for this role is £37,386 per annum. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

**Requirements:**

- A qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience in a hospital setting

- Active NMC registration and completion of a preceptorship programme

- Strong understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional standards

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
