## Description

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.

Responsibilities include:

- Patient Safety

- Pharmacy Professional Practice

- Regulatory Requirements

- Quality Assurance

- Customer Service

- Inventory Management

- Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification

Primary roles and responsibilities:

- Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues

- Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes

- Align others around the company's purpose to bring heart to every moment of health and gain support and commitment

- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements:

- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

- 0-3 years relevant work experience

- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe

Preferred qualifications:

- Immunization eligibility

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
