We are looking for a skilled and proactive Consumer Risk Specialist to contribute to our risk management efforts. Your primary responsibilities will include complying with the design and execution of reporting and provisioning data requirements as mandated by local regulations (CNBV). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform in-depth analysis of the retail portfolio, identify trends, and recommend strategies to mitigate potential risks.

You will play a key role in developing and analysing Losses and Recovery Forecasts and Business Plans on a monthly basis, providing valuable insights for decision-making. A significant aspect of this role involves automating and streamlining periodical processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. You will also be responsible for tracking the performance of guaranteed loans, providing feedback to relevant teams, and delivering necessary information for internal and external audits. Furthermore, you will participate in project management activities, ensure internal control compliance, and create new data reports as requested by other areas of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

- Comply with the design and periodical execution of the reporting and provisions data requirements derived from the local regulation (CNBV).

- Perform ad-hoc and periodical reports and analysis in collaboration with other teams.

- Analyse the retail portfolio and recommend actions to mitigate risk.

- Create and analyse Losses and Recovery Forecast on a monthly Basis.

- Create and analyse Losses and Recovery Business Plan.

- Automate and streamline periodical processes.

- Periodical tracking of guaranteed loans performance and provide feedback to other teams.

- Deliver necessary information for internal and external audits.

- Project management.

- Internal control compliance.

- Create new data reports as requested by other areas so decisions can be taken.

- Modelling Creation LGD, PD, POD (Desirable).

Qualifications:

- Financial, engineering, mathematical / actuarial background

- Experience in the retail banking or financial industry (desirable)

- Prior experience in LGD, PD, and POD modelling is highly desirable

- Proven knowledge or experience in SAS, SQL, Access or Phyton. (Must)

- Proficiency in MS products

- Fluent English knowledge (Must)

- Analytical, negotiation, attention to detail, time management and communications skills required.

- Modelling knowledge (Regression, lineal, correlations)
