## Description

Applications are invited for a substantive Obstetrics and Gynaecology consultant post, joining the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant team at Hillingdon Hospital.

The post is a 10 PA plus 0.47 APA consultant post in obstetrics and gynaecology. The ideal candidate will have a high standard of general obstetrics and gynaecology skills. The timetable allows the postholder to maintain a breadth of skills across the specialty, with the intention of development of the job plan in line with special interests.

The post holder will participate in the consultant on-call rota for obstetrics and gynaecology which includes 1 in 10 weekends on call with prospective cover (approximately 5 weekends per year). This is a non-resident on-call rota.

**Responsibilities**

- Ability to undertake consultant-level obstetric and gynaecological on-call duties

- Experience in general gynaecology

- Competency in early pregnancy scanning / emergency gynaecology

- BSCCP accreditation

- To demonstrate a broad knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology

- Competitive salary: £113,565 to £150,569 a year incl. HCA £2,62
