## Description

A Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) works directly with customers to understand their problems and design solutions using Palantir's platforms. They apply problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical expertise to help organisations use data for real-world impact.

Responsibilities:

- Work with customers to understand their problems and design solutions using Palantir's platforms

- Apply problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical expertise to help organisations use data for real-world impact

- Collaborate with internal teams, including product teams and deployment strategists, as well as external customers

- Develop and implement solutions to complex problems

What We Value:

- Strong engineering background, preferably in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics

- Experience with logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus

- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools

- Understanding of how technical decisions impact the user of what you're building

- Strong coding skills, with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar

Requirements:

- Active US Security Clearance at or above the Top Secret level or willingness to obtain/upgrade to or above Top Secret

Additional Information:

- Salary: Estimated $135,000 - $200,000 per year

- Total compensation includes Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives
