Join the Ford Product Development team as a Vehicle Thermal Systems CAE Engineer. You'll analyze the vehicle climate system that cools and heats the vehicle cabin and battery using various CAE methods.

## Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Thermal Systems CAE Engineer, you'll:

- Analyze vehicle climate system performance and power consumption

- Conduct studies on vehicle level climate performance predictions, refrigerant subsystem analysis, heater subsystem analysis, front end airflow, and power consumption analysis

- Review physical test data

- Travel up to 10% domestically

## Qualifications

You'll have:

- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field

- 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation

- 5 years of experience with testing, analyzing, and designing automotive thermal systems, modeling and conducting thermal/fluid CAE simulations using Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or GT-Suite, and utilizing CAD software tools including CATIA or Teamcenter

- 3 years of experience with testing and analyzing vehicle climate control performance using thermal data acquisition systems, CANoe, or MATLAB, and designing Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) thermal systems using one of the following thermal modeling applications: Fluent, STAR-CCM, or GT-Suite
