## Description

Twitch is the world's biggest live streaming service, with global communities built around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking, and more.

On-Demand is a team within the Engagement Growth organisation at Twitch, focused on ensuring creators have the tools they need to build, grow, and entertain their communities. As a Software Engineer I, you will work on video on demand, clips, and other short-form content, including how creators create and curate them, as well as the platforms that distribute these assets to their viewers.

You will:

- Learn and contribute across the full stack of software

- Work with backend (Go) and frontend (React)

- Collaborate with fellow engineers, product managers, and designers to build new products and solutions

- Participate in Operational Excellence work to maintain and support live services

- Help earn customer trust by working with support teams to resolve issues and fix production bugs

You have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience as a Software Engineer

- Willingness to learn new things and work with a diverse group of people

- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms

- Familiarity with scalability, concurrency, API design, data modelling, and distributed systems fundamentals

- Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or another object-oriented language

- Eagerness to grow as a Software Engineer

Bonus points:

- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure

- Coding experience with React

- Twitch experience or knowledge as a viewer, moderator, or streamer
