## Description

Priory Althea Park House in Stroud, Gloucestershire, has an opportunity for a full-time Support Worker to join their team.

The service offers 10 beds in a therapeutic environment for young people with eating disorders, alongside a 3-bedded step-down semi-independent service.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a compassionate team committed to patients' wellbeing, taking a personalised approach using proven therapies to help individuals move forward with confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring patients' personal needs are met, including personal care, participation in activities, and support with daily living tasks

- Completing daily administration tasks, such as updating care plans and charts

- Maintaining professional relationships with patients, families, colleagues, and visitors

- Contributing to the maintenance of safety, security, and confidentiality standards

The ideal candidate will have:

- NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or a related area, or equivalent/higher recognised qualification

- GCSE or NVQ2 in English and Maths

- Resilience and natural empathy to support others
