## Description

At Morgan & Morgan, the work we do matters. For millions of Americans, we're their last line of defense against insurance companies, large corporations or defective goods.

The Marketing Strategy department is hiring a Marketing Manager who reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and owns marketing performance across dedicated personal injury litigation areas, including maritime, medical malpractice, nursing home and workers' compensation.

Responsibilities:

- Performance, end to end. You will own spend, cost per intake and conversion to signed case for your litigation areas.

- Diagnosis before spend. When an area underperforms, you will find out where in the funnel it breaks before recommending more or less money, and take the fix to the team that owns that step.

- Testing. You will write the hypothesis, agree how a test will be judged before it launches, and report what you learned.

- Budget and forecast. You will build the annual plan for your areas with the media planning team, track pacing monthly, and back any proposed change in spend with numbers.

- Intake partnership. You will share what marketing is sending intake, learn what comes back, and use it to improve both lead quality and volume.

- Creative and messaging briefs. You will tell creative who each area needs to reach and what should make them call.

- Reporting to leadership. You will provide a regular readout that leads with the answer, shows the numbers, and says plainly what is still uncertain.

What success looks like:

- First 90 days: you can explain the funnel for each of your four areas, with numbers, and name the biggest problem in each.

- First 6 months: a testing roadmap is running and the first results have been read out, whether positive or not.

- First year: you own the plan and forecast for your areas, and leadership uses your readouts to make spend decisions.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years in marketing or digital media management, including direct accountability for a budget and an outcome metric such as cost per acquisition or cost per lead.

- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

- Hands-on analysis: you build your own reports and forecasts in Excel or Google Sheets.

- Experience with both brand and direct response marketing, and an understanding of how they work together.

- Judgment under uncertainty: you can make a call with incomplete data and say what would change your mind.

- A record of moving work forward through people you do not manage, with clear communication and the presence to present to senior leaders.

- Close attention to detail in numbers, briefs and plans.

Nice to have:

- Marketing in a regulated industry such as legal, healthcare, insurance or financial services.

- Experience with call-driven or lead-generation funnels, where an intake or sales team sits between the ad and the outcome.

- Planning across many local markets at once.

Benefits:

- Medical and dental insurance

- 401(k) plan

- Paid time off

- Paid holidays
