## Description

We are seeking a Patient Care Advocate to join our team. As a Patient Care Advocate, you will be on the front lines with patients, responding to phone inquiries and addressing each with care, detail, and empathy.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist patients in understanding their pharmacy benefits by using knowledge gained from training, problem-solving skills, and added support from your team to answer patient calls effectively.

- Use expert listening skills to address patient questions and concerns empathetically and document all interactions.

- Assist patients with prescription refills, scheduling shipments, and addressing billing questions.

**Requirements:**

- High School Diploma / GED required

- 1 year of relevant call center experience preferred

- 1 year Previous medical insurance or pharmacy experience preferred

- General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office and Outlook

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- Empathetic and genuine customer service skills

**Additional Requirements:**

- Must live in Hawaii to be considered

- Work from home 3 days & work on Site 2 days per week

- Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload

**Compensation:**

- Anticipated hourly rate of $17.75 - $19 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location

- Eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan
