We're looking for a Staff+ Software Engineer to anchor our Enterprise pillar, making Claude enterprise-ready at scale. This high-agency role spans multiple efforts within Enterprise, designing systems and products that enable Fortune 500 companies to roll out Claude to thousands of employees.

**Responsibilities:**

- Define and drive multi-year technical strategy, including distributability and multi-cloud strategy

- Identify and lead high-complexity, high-impact engineering initiatives

- Serve as a primary technical decision-maker for major architectural decisions

- Partner with teams like Inference, Platform, and Customer Success

- Mentor and develop Staff-level engineers

- Drive alignment across Product, GTM, and Customer Success

**Requirements:**

- 10+ years of engineering experience at Staff or Senior Staff level

- Track record of shaping technical strategy for large-scale Cloud Service Providers or Enterprise SaaS companies

- Expertise in distributed systems, API architecture, and enterprise areas like security and compliance

- Strong domain expertise and intuition in enterprise areas

**Technical Stack:**

- Languages: Python, Golang, Rust

- Infrastructure: GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes

- Databases: PostgreSQL, Vector Stores, Firestore, Spanner

- Tools: Feature Flagging, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Claude Code
