## Description

As a Senior Global Manager, Application Engineering – Electrical Architecture & Electronics at 3M, you will lead the global Application Engineering organization for Electrical Architecture & Electronics (EA&E), covering Automotive, Commercial Vehicles, and Rail. You will shape 3M's system-level strategy, strengthen technical engagement with OEMs and Tier suppliers worldwide, translate customer and market insights into scalable solution architectures and new product introduction (NPI) opportunities, and accelerate growth across the Transportation business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading a global team of field-, account-, and strategic-aligned Application Engineers

- Partnering with the Customer Solutions Architect to identify and drive focus areas for the global EA&E technology and solution roadmap

- Building strong technical relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, and ecosystem partners

- Leading global customer and technical interactions for automotive display films

- Collaborating with the Customer Solutions Architect to develop modular, platform-based EA&E solution architectures

- Translating global customer, application, and market insights into prioritized NPI opportunities and growth programs

- Identifying and prioritizing white-space opportunities in future E/E architectures, electronics integration, and automotive displays

- Influencing R&D investment priorities, technology incubation, and portfolio choices

- Driving consistent Application Engineering operating practices and capability development

The expected compensation range for this position is $221,591 - $270,834, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
