## Job Overview

We are seeking experienced software engineers to join our Connectivity team at Anthropic. As a Staff+ Software Engineer, Platform Connectivity, you will play a crucial role in making Claude the most connected AI. You will design, build, and operate core connectivity infrastructure, ensuring reliability and enterprise trust.

## Responsibilities

- Design, build, and operate the MCP proxy and OAuth/token management systems for external tool calls

- Own reliability for critical infrastructure, including SLOs, on-call, incident response, and postmortems

- Develop admin controls and permission models for enterprise IT governance

- Contribute to the MCP standard and ecosystem, including the spec and official Python/TypeScript SDKs

- Scope complex projects, drive cross-org alignment, and make architectural decisions

- Partner with research to productize cutting-edge capabilities

## Requirements

- Experience as a backend or platform engineer

- Familiarity with AI tools in software development

- Product-focused approach to platform work

- Ownership of work from design to deployment and operations

- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions

- Experience with production distributed systems and reliability

- Excellent communication skills
