## Description

We are seeking a Service Charge Officer to join our team at Clarion Housing Group, a leading provider of housing services. As a Service Charge Officer, you will be responsible for responding to service charge enquiries and complaints, investigating issues raised by customers, and working with teams across the business to collate necessary documents and explanations.

You will play a key part in ensuring that costs of services provide value for money, are accounted for in a transparent manner, and recovery of costs is maximised. You will also carry out adjustments to service charges following investigations, provide feedback to teams, and keep our CRM system updated with activity and correspondence.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of using Excel, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear and concise way using a range of media.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Respond to service charge enquiries and complaints

- Investigate issues raised by customers

- Work with teams across the business to collate necessary documents and explanations

- Carry out adjustments to service charges following investigations

- Provide feedback to teams to ensure errors do not re-occur

- Keep our CRM system updated with activity and correspondence

**Requirements:**

- Substantial experience of using Excel

- Excellent numerical skills

- Ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear and concise way using a range of media
