## Description

We are seeking a skilled File Handler to join our team in investigating complex credit hire claims. As a File Handler, you will be responsible for carrying out complex and technical investigations on pre-litigated claims with a value over £25,000.

The role involves reviewing and analysing files, developing and maintaining client relationships, formulating initial strategies, undertaking telephone negotiations, and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reviewing and analysing files throughout the life of the case

- Developing and maintaining client relationships

- Formulating initial strategies

- Undertaking telephone negotiations with third-party solicitors

- Liaising with the insured where necessary

- Ensuring 'actions' are carried out as per the task list

- Accurately completing management information processes

- Feedback successful 'kick-outs' to pre-proceedings handlers and clients

- Ensuring all files are kept within ISO 9001 guidelines

- Complying with SRA Standards and Regulations

- Adhering to Keoghs Values

The ideal candidate will have experience handling credit hire files, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
