Our Casualty team is seeking a dedicated Liability Claims Handler to efficiently handle EL & PL claims for personal injury and third-party property damage. The successful candidate will manage an allocated caseload, complete inquiries, report to clients, and ensure proactive claims handling.

## Key Responsibilities

- Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers

- Investigate allocated claims and obtain necessary evidence

- Determine actions for case resolution and prepare detailed reports

- Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits

- Correspond with parties to progress cases to conclusion

- Handle cases according to client requirements and maintain proper reserves

## Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

- Experience handling EL (Employers Liability) & PL (Public Liability) claims

- Experience handling personal injury and third-party property damage

- Knowledge of injury claim valuation and reserving philosophies

- Familiarity with Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for own workload

- Adaptability, flexibility, and strong IT skills
