## Description

As a Trading Manager at Morrisons, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked, providing a fantastic shopping experience for our customers.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will bring a hands-on approach to managing store-wide trading routines, leading your team to deliver market-leading product availability, running smooth promotional events, and ensuring every aisle is safe, legal, and ready for trade.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, planning promotions, and acting on customer feedback to keep standards high.

- Managing shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to work flexibly across departments.

- Driving performance and availability, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.

- Planning resources thoroughly, managing daily team routines, and building strong working relationships with other store departments.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment, be confident in running shifts and handling daily trading priorities, and be able to step up as Manager in Charge when required. You should also be a natural communicator, able to share knowledge and deal with everyday challenges calmly.
